Medication-assisted treatment (MAT)

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is a program for opioid or alcohol dependence that reduces craving and supports recovery maintenance. MAT includes integrated outpatient care services, including group and individual therapy.

Drug & Alcohol Detox

Alcoholism and drug addiction (substance use disorders) are serious and sometimes life-threatening medical conditions that can upend lives. Quitting can be difficult and, in some cases, when not medically supervised, life-threatening. Buena Vista provides best-in-class, patient-centered, medically monitored inpatient detoxification to ease symptoms and ensure a safe withdrawal experience.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) & Virtual IOP

An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is ideal for patients stepping down from inpatient (residential) treatment or medical detox who want additional recovery support. IOP means attending 3-hour sessions three days a week, often including one hour of individual therapy and other wrap-around services. Generally, the IOP or Virtual IOP bundle means a time commitment of 10-11 hours a week.

Inpatient Drug & Alcohol Treatment

Inpatient or residential drug and alcohol rehab provides the highest level of treatment for those suffering from a substance use disorder, including, when necessary, medically monitored detoxification. Our caring and supportive providers meet patients where they are, designing personalized treatment plans to see them through our continuum of care. Patients enjoy private rooms and chef-prepared meals and attend daily group and individual therapy.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Buena Vista Recovery provides compassionate, person-centered addiction treatment in a supportive recovery community. Our modern rehab facility offers comprehensive detox and rehabilitation programs tailored to each individual’s unique needs and recovery goals. With experienced behavioral health professionals, personalized care plans, and a strong peer support network, we help patients build a foundation for lasting sobriety. We believe healing happens through connection, understanding, and empowerment every step of the way.

Outpatient Drug & Alcohol Treatment

Outpatient drug & alcohol treatment allows those in recovery to maintain their daily lives while receiving ongoing supportive care, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT), personalized counseling and group therapy, case management, and peer counseling.

I went here 2 days ago. The nurse was rude who was taking my intake and they didn't have no AC. The only AC that was working was in the tv room. This place really sucked. I end up leaving that same day.

Thank you for your response. Although some time has passed since my experience, the seriousness of what occurred is why I am following up. My review described allegations of gaslighting by a therapist, repeated harassment by other clients, lack of staff intervention, and what appeared to be retaliatory discharge after I submitted formal grievances. These are not minor concerns-they directly relate to patient safety and ethical standards of care. Your response did not address these specific issues, nor did it indicate whether any investigation or corrective action ever took place. I am requesting a written response clarifying: - Whether an investigation was conducted at the time - Whether the staff involved were reviewed - What policies are currently in place to protect clients from harassment and retaliation after filing grievances Even if time has passed, these concerns remain serious and relevant to the safety of others who may seek care. If these matters are not addressed with transparency, I Will consider escalating this to the appropriate licensing and regulatory bodies. I would prefer to resolve this directly and receive a clear, accountable response.

This facility is amazing! So much more than I ever expected. If I could give a 10 star 🌟 rating I would. The residential facility is absolutely spotless. Everyone has their own huge room with a Roku TV. Huge bathroom. We get our phones everyday from 4pm to 9pm. I have not heard of anywhere else that doesn't have a blackout period on phones. All the staff here are amazing! They truly care about the patients here! Scott is a great BHT, he's trained Josh very well! Christina, my therapist, is very inspiring and I enjoy her group sessions. I always look forward to Ed's group sessions, he has the entire class engaged and everyone seems to have a good time during his group! I am so happy I was referred here for recovery. I couldn't ask for anything better! Also, they do except my Health Choice Medicaid here.

Absolutely awful. They made a bad situation worse. They didn't tell us when they moved a patient from their facility to a local ER. The hospital contacted us 18 hours later via his emergency contact. They told the hospital they moved him there (after a day & ½) that they brought him there due to a fall. They told us after we finally got ahold of them it was because they couldn't give him an iv & the medication he needed for his detox/they didnt offer it. They advertise all over their site that they specialize in providing medical care for detox. THEY ARE AWFUL. You can't get ahold of them unless you select the option for a new intake because they just want business. They don't care, and they certainly don't provide the necessary care.
