I was in the store in Rogers last week, there were two gentleman working, 1 a manager. There was no one else in the store. They were rude and unhelpful. He said he would email me the quote and never did. I decided today to order the glasses only to find he had not entered anything into the computer. I guess lenscrafters does not need my $500

This is information for their doctor next door. This location uses Dr. Lance Daniel O.D. 🚨 Dr. Lance Daniel O.D. does NOT disclose fees upfront 🚨 This is the single worst vision exam experience I have had in my life — and that’s before the exam even started. I was never told about a $59 charge until after completing paperwork in the office. They claimed it was for imaging my insurance doesn’t cover — but when I declined, I was told it’s required by their office policy. ❗ That means: • You cannot get a basic exam using your insurance • You are forced into paying for add-ons • Pricing is NOT disclosed upfront ⚠️ This is a classic hidden-fee setup. Patients should be informed BEFORE they arrive — not pressured into paying once they’re already there. 💡 Patients should verify ALL charges in advance — this office appears to require non-covered services regardless of insurance.

They are listed under my insurance as an in-network provider, my insurance covers one exam a year with $0 co-pay. They told me my co-pay would be $69 when I told them who my insurance was through. Do not trust this place.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
