I don’t even know where to start. Waited hours in ER then admitted my son, never told us what was causing his pain. We seen about 20 something doctors and they all told us the same thing it was frustrating. We still left not knowing what was going on and we were there for 5 days. The doctor he originally seen before didn’t even check up on him. Definitely would not recommend them. I was shocked bc I bragged so much about this hospital even the nurse Graceann didn’t check on my child at all only seen her twice her whole shift. But Ms Story was very pleasant and Ms Stephenia was pleasant as well.

The valet line at Arkansas Children's wrapped around the block, so I parked in the garage and followed the colored floor stripes to the atrium. A volunteer at the information desk got me to the right tower on the first try, but the cafeteria was down to grilled cheese by 2 p.m. and the garage still charged a full day.

Triage was quick, checking in with insurance was quick. After that everyone asked my son "how did you get hurt" by everyone that saw him. One doctor used his personal phone to take photos of injuries without asking permission. Nothing like being made to feel like you were being silently accused of abuse. 6 1/2 hours later we finally finished. We spent more time waiting to be seen & in pain than actually getting something done.

Absolutely awful communication, policy management, and onboarding. We had twins in the NICU and were denied sibling visits TWICE. Once because a 7 year-old misspoke about having a runny nose (she obviously didn’t and we were turned away even after she corrected herself - they didn’t even take a temperature) and once because there was a form missing that we had ALREADY FILLED OUT and had even been explicitly told “wasn’t necessary” during onboarding. They didn’t require the form one day and then required it the next day. Devastating to our family, especially our 3 kids who can’t see their baby sisters because of mismanaged red tape. Team leads responsible were Jennifer and Abigail.

DO NOT BLINDLY TRUST DOCTORS! I was given heart surgery (cardiac ablation) here as a child around 2012 due to supposed "Supraventricular Tachycardia", which just means a high heart rate. What I actually had was severe anxiety due to abuse and neglect happening to me by my parents. However, anxiety was never considered a possibility. It was immediately assumed to be a heart problem and my body has been altered permanently. The hospital makes very little $ by turning my parents in to CPS and refusing to operate on me. Do not blindly trust doctors. They are going to get away with as much as they possibly can to make them and their place of business the most money. Remember they have hundreds of thousands of dollars in school loan debt they need to pay off. That is at the forefront of their mind before your wellbeing is.
