Radiation oncology is a unique blend of state-of-the-art technology and warm personal care by a multidisciplinary radiation therapy team.
The radiation therapy team consists of a Radiation Oncologist (a physician that specializes in the use of radiation to treat cancer) who works closely with a medical physicist, dosimetrist, radiation therapist and oncology nurse. The radiation team at NEA Baptist works closely with our medical oncologists, surgeons and other doctors to coordinate the best plan of care for our patients.
Equipped with the latest technology, the radiation oncology department includes a linear accelerator and a CT simulator.
