Every woman deserves a place like this.
Over the last year, fitness has completely changed my life, but I've realized something along the way: not every workout has to serve the same purpose.
Many people know that CrossFit is where I go to challenge myself. It's where I chase goals, learn new skills, and push my limits.
But True40 is where I go for me.
This is my girls' girl community. It's the place where I can walk in exactly as I am, move my body, clear my mind, and leave feeling stronger — not because I competed with anyone else, but because I showed up for myself.
What impresses me most is how intentional every class is. Before class even begins, the instructors ask if anyone has injuries or limitations so they can offer modifications. They don't wait for you to struggle or feel embarrassed — they meet you where you are from the very beginning.
Right now, that's everything to me.
I'm recovering from a broken tailbone in three places and a fractured sacrum, so there are plenty of movements I simply can't do. At most gyms, that would make me feel like I was sitting on the sidelines. At True40, I never feel like I'm doing "less." I feel like I'm doing what's right for my body, and that's celebrated just as much.
And then there are the instructors.
I still don't know how they do it, but somehow they know everyone's name. Every class. Every time. Throughout the workout you'll hear, "Great job, Elizabeth!" or "That looks great!" They celebrate every woman in the room, whether it's your first class or your five hundredth.
That kind of encouragement matters more than people realize.
The atmosphere is welcoming, inclusive, and genuinely supportive. There isn't pressure to be perfect or compare yourself to anyone else. Women cheer for each other. Everyone belongs.
And that doesn't happen by accident.
Monica has truly built something special. She's created more than a fitness studio — she's created a community where women feel seen, encouraged, and supported exactly as they are. You can feel that from the moment you walk through the doors, and it shows in every instructor, every class, and every interaction.
True40 has become such an important part of my health journey. Not just because it's a great workout, but because it's a place where I can move without guilt, without competition, and without feeling like I have anything to prove.
If you've ever thought, "I'm not fit enough," "I'm too intimidated," or "I'll start once I'm in better shape," please hear me: you don't have to earn your place here.
Just walk through the door.
Seriously, every woman deserves a place like this.
