  Yes the wait times are long but Obiekwe is the first doctor that’s ever looked at me and said “it’s not in your head” and was willing to do whatit took to help me feel better!

  I have been a patient of Dr. Obiekwe's for 12 years. She is the best!!! She really cares about her patients. Her staff is always amazing.

  Worst experience ever! The whole staff was beyond rude. Except for one nice nurse. I came in for some abnormal bleeding regarding birth control. Said it was going to be $165.00 just to talk about my symptoms because my insurance did not cover that, only the birth control. I was told to undress for an exam, waited over 20 minutes for someone to come in the room just to ask if I was being seen about birth control or the symptoms even though I explained everything and they acted clueless, saying again it would be extra to talk about anything other than my birth control. The doctor finally comes in and was extremely rude, dismissing everything I had to say. Judging me because I didn’t have full Medicaid. She says they “forgot” to give me a pregnancy test” and had to do that. Then proceeded to tell me I couldn’t even get my birth control switched because of insurance which they clearly do. Then they had me undress again for no reason. They clearly had no idea what they were doing at all. Then the doctor said if I had no current symptoms that day to just stay on the birth control in a very rude manor saying that she wasn’t going to do anything for me if it was working which it clearly was not. . Basically making me feel like an inconvenience for being worried about my own health and wanting to fix my symptoms where she gave me no options to do so. Listen to all the negative reviews because they are all true. I will never be back here again and I do not recommend. I’ve never came across such rude staff and doctors. Ridiculous.

  Not the best service. They don't communicate very well. I was referred there. They waited until I got there to let me know my insurance was showing "Ineligible". I called my insurance and they said it was still very much "Active" and that this place must have been entering the wrong ID number. Never once did they transfer me to the person in charge of billing to correct it or offer to double check their details. They also never apologized for having me drive all the way there before saying anything was wrong. Customer service is lacking. They might need to brush up on communication skills and also how to enter Tricare policy details. It would save the next person time and frustration

  My IUD was causing me pain. I made an appointment to get it take out. She told me she would not put it back in because that would be a waste of tax payers money and I wasn’t even on Medicaid she just assumed I was.
