Hospice of Montgomery was the first Hospice in Alabama—in fact, we were among the first in the nation. We are the only independent non-profit 501(c)(3) hospice serving Montgomery, Autauga, Bullock, Butler, Chilton, Crenshaw, Elmore, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, and Tallapoosa counties. Founded in 1976 as an all-volunteer agency with funding support from The United Way, we have an unmatched knowledge and understanding of the River Region community and the local support services available to assist you.
