  I have been a LensCrafters customer for 11 years and have visited Dr. Collins’s office since 2020. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Approximately three months ago, I ordered contact lenses and specifically requested that they be shipped to the store, as I have always done. After weeks of no updates, I discovered they had been shipped to an old address where I no longer live. I was never provided with tracking information, and despite being promised a callback, no one followed up. When I visited the store to resolve the issue, I was told to contact UPS, even though LensCrafters handled the shipment. When I explained that I had requested store delivery, the employee laughed in my face and insisted it was not the store’s fault. The lack of professionalism and accountability was unacceptable. I even asked about a refund, but no solution was offered. What makes this especially disappointing is that Jason has always provided excellent customer service and made me feel valued as a customer. Unfortunately, this experience was the complete opposite. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of communication, failure to follow up, incorrect shipping address, and disrespectful treatment are unacceptable. After 11 years of loyalty, I expected much better. LensCrafters has lost a loyal customer, and I will be finding a new eye doctor. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these customer service issues.

  Update**** due to 4 of the right eye being expired!! Good grief ~ Well for starters, I wasn't introduced to the eye doctor, whom I was scheduled to meet for an eye exam, which included prescription eyeglasses as well as contact lenses. I am not from here. I am from San Antonio, Texas so I'm not familiar with the area or this particular doctor. Getting an eye exam for some people can be quite anxious and I never really felt at ease, and I felt like I was a burden to most of the staff, including the doctor, Dr. Collins. The entire process was very unemotional and very mechanical at one point I was following two ladies into an exam room and I said well I get a chance to meet Dr. Collins? And both ladies looked at me and the actual doctor said "she was getting to that." Even after I found out who the doctor was, she never formally shook my hand or even introduced herself. And the staff person who was with her was very mechanical as well. I do not appreciate being treated like I'm stupid. I ask a lot of questions. And when I'm gonna be spending thousands of dollars on eyewear and contact lenses, I expect a little bit more courtesy and professionalism. This place is definitely not my recommendation for anyone who wants a more personable experience. I have traveled all over the world and most of the people I come in contact with are very pleasant. Today's experience was horrible. I would never have scheduled my "out of town " eye exam here if I had known ahead of time that I would be treated like, just another human walking through the door, like a number. I truly am very sorry I came here today. Then to finish it all off. I was handed a handful of trial contact lenses and wasn't even offered a LensCrafters bag or any kind of bag to hold them in. I literally carried out trial contact lenses nine pairs in my bare hands, which four of the pairs are in 2024? Who has a new customer nine pairs of single contact lenses with no bag and four of them are expired? This place is a turn and burn pick a number have a seat will be right with you kind of place. This is not your care and courtesy and concern about your eye exam. How can we be of professional assistance? Please do yourself a huge favor and don't use this place. They also don't honor military service veterans. It's a NEVER AGAIN, for me!

  Brought in a pair of Ray Bans that were broken. They were able to repair them and clean the lens within 5 minutes.

  I had my eye exam for contact lenses today and I’m very impressed with the professionalism of Vita and Dr.Collins. When I came, all the documents were ready for me, Vita was very kind and patient and answered all my questions about insurance, she was very intelligent and detailed. Dr.Collins did a very comprehensive eye exam! She asked me questions about my eyes, was very caring and kind! Overall I had a very pleasant and smooth experience!

  I'm always pleased with my appointments at this LensCrafters! The staff are kind, thorough, and provide great service. I had an eye exam, browsed different glasses, and ended up purchasing a pair. If you're visiting for the first time, ask for Matthew—he will get you right! He is thorough, patient, and never makes you feel rushed when choosing your glasses. He is kind and does a phenomenal job. I highly recommend this LensCrafters and their staff!
