Today, they couldn’t find my insurance information despite me sharing my ID and Fepblue card. The receptionist treated me like I was a criminal, trying to get by on someone else’s insurance. Dr. Collin’s ended up calling the insurance company and they confirmed ACTIVE COVERAGE. At that point, an apology would have been the correct response. No, this was not the response. Dr. Collin’s with no eye contact said- we can proceed. After her lack of professionalism, lack of customer service, I was done. When I called the insurance company to verify, etc., I tried to have her speak with the insurance company agent, but Dr. Collins pushed back, saying I know that you have coverage. SHE NEVER MENTIONED THIS. The staff around her and I snickered at me. This is a rude and rather narcissistic provider. Never again!
