Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

The staff: lovely but overworked and that can come across as rudeness. They're people. They're not obligated to be over the top excited to talk to you. They're exhausted. They're understaffed.
A couple of new people have started working here and the new pharmacist is an absolute delight. She is so friendly and helpful.
The online ordering: DON'T DO IT. It's broken. The staff knows it's broken. It's not their job. It isn't their fault. But it doesn't ever work.
The stock: we've had stock issues. It's a manufacturing problem. Shortages happen. Not their fault.
The hours: sometimes they close early. Call ahead and ask. That's on you. Again not their fault.
The insurance companies and the doctors not having your medicine approved: we can ALL AGREE that the system is screwed up beyond belief at this point. It's not an excuse when the pharmacy says that your medicine isn't ready because of insurance or hearing back from your doctor. You have NO IDEA the process that goes into these haggle sessions to get insurance companies to cover certain things they don't believe are medically necessary. Be patient and be proactive to call your doctor to see if you can help the process along.
Communication: yeah they aren't good here at communicating what is going on. Sometimes they forget to tell you the meds are ready. They never call to say there is a back and forth with the doctor and the insurance. You have to be proactive here.

Edit (10/11/25) 3x this week I have attempted to refill a prescription with new submitted prescription by my pdoc for a different dose. They could not fill the whole thing due to stock so gave me 10 days at $20. The cost of my whole 90 day prescription. I have tried 3x this week with the pharmacy to get it ordered. Everytime it is a new excuse. Now as of today it is my insurance. I cannot afford the med without insurance and do not trust them to even run things correctly. Now I will go without meds and go into 2nd round of withdrawals thanks to Kroger Pharmacy. A report to the BBB and the APA have been filed both as an ethics complaint and a negligence complaint. My mental health deterioration over the past few months due directly to errors on the pharmacies part has almost hospitalized me. They dont deserve to have a license.
Original review:
Closed 20 minutes early before a Holiday. I now will go without my medication they were late on filling. They were already out of stock of a common med and could not fill it days ago. They gave me 3 days of loners. It got filled today. I pulled in, after work at 7:41PM and they were closed. Online and in person the sign says 8AM. I will be looking at moving pharmacies.
Edit months later: this pharmacy is not interested in helping you solve medication payments when the med needed will send you to the hospital with withdrawals. They are difficult, not compassionate, getting them to do their jobs is pulling teeth, they are the WORST pharmacy I have ever been to between the snobby staff with no compassion and with closing before their marked closing hours regularly. They are 100% unreliable. I will be reporting them for some things as well.

I have been getting prescriptions filled for as long as they have been open. Every one that works in the pharmacy are extremely helpful & very friendly. I hate to say this, but because I have been getting my meds filled here for so long, they all know my name/face & go out of their way to rush my rx script to get it filled in a short time. I appreciate that they do remember me, & do not hesitate to stop what they are doing to help speed up the process, because of my medical conditions. I will definitely recommend this Kroger Pharmacy & the employees who work there.
