She gave me different size and shape options to figure out what I like since I haven't purchased prescription glasses in 8+ years. It was a great shopping experience, and I ended up buying two pairs of glasses. I'm excited to start wearing them!

When I called the office to find out what was happening, I got an Asian person who could barely speak English. She told me there were no direct telephone lines to the office. Asked about the referral and she assured me she would take care of it. Two weeks later, still no referral. I called back and she had no idea what I was talking about. Asked me for the last four digits of THE CREDIT CARD NUMBER used to pay for my mom's visit to identify the account. Um, NO. This place is a scam. I highly recommend you go elsewhere for an eye doctor. I am going to have to take my mother somewhere else to get her referral to a cataract surgeon. Total waste of time and money.

My son was also there for new glasses and she helped him as well. He was not as open to outside influence and Madelyn was great with that as well. Overall a great experience.

I needed an eye exam and new prescription and new glasses/frames, and had wasted a week or more calling various optometrists and vision centers only to find most places did not coot my insurance (UHC AARP Medicare Advantage). At the same time, I had been shopping for frames and settled on Warby Parker who had three styles that appealed to me and had a great online shopping interface. When I received an email from Warby Parker notifying me that they offered eye exams in store with a licensed eye doctor, I immediately reached out to schedule. They got me in the next day and the entire experience was outstanding. Everyone on the team was helpful, my insurance covered my eye exam with only a modest out of pocket for the Digital retinal imaging, and covered over half of my frames and special lens requirements. They even made some adjustments on my existing glasses to tide me over till my new glasses arrive. Bravo to WP at The Summit in Birmingham. It's fitting that they are right next to The Apple Store, as both provide "insanely great" customer service (and products), as Steve Jobs would call it.
