- VWVal WaltonJul 13, 20265.0When I found the numbers on the scale creeping up to the most I have ever weighed in my adult life, it scared me. Nothing I tried would slow the weight gain. I knew I had to be proactive and invest in my health. I didn’t want to buy new clothes nor continue seeing weight gain to the point that it would become unhealthy, and I didn’t recognize myself. I found my joints would ache as I did my 5K runs. This also was around the time that my dad’s health began to fail, and I had to put him on hospice. I researched and found The Weights Over, intrigued by the play on words in the name. They worked with me, continuing assessments with me to find the medication-assisted regimen that helped me lose weight in a way that wasn’t drastic and didn’t cause me to lose muscle mass. I am now back at my weight that allows me to fit comfortably in my clothes. My joints no longer hurt when I run. I am on a dosage that allows me to maintain my weight loss. I am forever grateful for the non-judgmental, caring services I receive.

The best part is coming in for visits weekly which helps with my personal accountability. Charmaine closely monitors my progress and make changes as necessary based on my care needs.
