Diabetes Equipment Store
We strive to improve the health of our patients in a manner that distinguishes us in our industry. Patient rights, responsibilities, dignity and confidentiality are our highest priority in the delivery and follow-up process. We will constantly provide our staff members with updates in the latest home health care technology through attendance at seminars, participation in factory training programs, in-house education and other appropriate methods.Your one stop shop for diabetic testing supplies, shoes, education, bracelets, necklaces, cookbooks, snacks, and insulin carrying cases.The Diabetes Store, Inc. originally opened in downtown Memphis in March 2002. With a our goal of providing the highest quality of home health care equipment, supplies and services, in a cost-effective manner, to diabetic patients in our area. We have been able to accomplish this goal by providing free diabetic education to those in our local community, excellent customer service, and quality testing supplies. Over the years we have grown and are helping people not only within our area, but also throughout the United States.
Since 2002, The Diabetes Store, Inc has opened three new locations in Memphis, Tennessee, Southaven, Mississippi, and Birmingham, Alabama. All three of these locations provide diabetic education to our patients and people in the community. Our education centers currently provide three or more classes per month. The Diabetes Survival Skills/Carbohydrate Counting Class schedules may be found in the Class Schedule category on our website. Each patient that attends class not only learns key skills in order to manage their diabetes, but also receives a free diabetic monitoring device.

- FKFred KempMar 15, 20251.0The only reason I put one star is that you can’t put negative stars. This is the most unbelievably poorly run business that I’ve ever dealt with. They’re smart mouth disrespectful agents think that they rule the world. They intentionally go out of their way to make everything as difficult as possible, but that’s OK. Medicare is after them now I doubt they’ll be in business this time next year.

Attempts to resolve issue were futile because company was unable to provide records or have a supervisor contact us to discuss issue. Ended up having to file a fraud report with Medicare. terrible company to do business with.

Although they call constantly to ask when I've been to the doctor and how many sensors I have left, they somehow manage to screw up sending the supplies on time. Not sure why every other provider can do things online or with text notification but they can't.They argue with my doctor's office about getting the right information. They promised to overnight the latest order but nope, they sent it regular shipment. It's just awful.
- ISIowa StateJan 11, 20201.0I am both worried and furious. My insurance company requires me to order both lancets & strips from this company. Usually a very nice fella ( I’m thinking Rob) calls to confirm before mailing periodic order. He did not & I only realized it when I had only 10strips left ( I test twice daily). I called, ordered new supply and advised clerk of my limited supply. I’ve always gotten these within 2-3days. They not only didn’t mail them timely; but 4 days later. It has now been 12days ( 10 mailable days) and the tracker number provided me shows pkg going from TN to Rochester NY.... SAY WHAT?? The delivering address is in IA. WHAT A MESS!! I am OUT of strips & can not purchase them locally. WHAT THE HECK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO? The persons at The Diabetic Store are totally indifferent to my situation. I would say their personnel could use an overhaul. NIGHTMARE‼️‼️‼️
