- ASAmin SherzadSep 29, 20261.0So expensive for the services they offer. Not recommended for families with kids. They have a 30 day cancellation notice - a ridiculous out dated policy just to charge you even after you decided not to use them.
- JCJoyce ChristianSep 29, 20265.0The kiddos enjoy Hoover YMCA...kid friendly with a GRAND play room
- TSTonya SmithSep 17, 20265.0The Hoover YMCA is incredible! I love the EGym option. It is so hassle free and keeps me excited about exercising! The facility is clean and convenient, and the staff is always friendly and helpful! Great job Hoover Y! Keep up the good work!
- AWAaron WilliamsSep 9, 20261.0Just signed up for family membership last month. So far we have had a bad experience unless just using as a basic gym. Staff isn't very helpful if you have issues. They have nice equipment at least. I get so many emails for their programs but the first one I sign my son up for (Basketball) the coach is a no show the first day and there was zero signage on either court for it. Other parents showed up and everyone set around in the court for 30 minutes awkwardly waiting for no one to show. Only was told he wasnt coming after we went up to front desk. I will update after a few more visits.
- ASAllison SAug 31, 20265.0I really love this gym. I love the staff (they are always so welcoming and so pleasant) and the facility is always so clean. I have been on a fitness journey since January - I started at another gym in Feb but wasn't getting everything I wanted from it. I switched to the YMCA in June and I love it. I have seen real progress in my health.I REALLY CANNOT STRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THE GROUP FITNESS CLASSES! The y - cross, y -cross circuits, y strong challenge, barre, and body pump are my favorites. The trainers (every single one of them) are amazing, so encouraging, and always adjust you so you can do the moves correctly. I also love all the members. I've made friends that push me to go even harder and make coming to the gym so fun. If you are on the fence about joining, take a class or just visit, you will love it. My whole family now goes here and we are all sooo happy!
