- ASAllison S3 days ago5.0I really love this gym. I love the staff (they are always so welcoming and so pleasant) and the facility is always so clean. I have been on a fitness journey since January - I started at another gym in Feb but wasn't getting everything I wanted from it. I switched to the YMCA in June and I love it. I have seen real progress in my health.I REALLY CANNOT STRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THE GROUP FITNESS CLASSES! The y - cross, y -cross circuits, y strong challenge, barre, and body pump are my favorites. The trainers (every single one of them) are amazing, so encouraging, and always adjust you so you can do the moves correctly. I also love all the members. I've made friends that push me to go even harder and make coming to the gym so fun. If you are on the fence about joining, take a class or just visit, you will love it. My whole family now goes here and we are all sooo happy!
- EAEMILY ALTONAug 13, 20265.0We love the YMCA Hoover! It’s clean and well maintained. The staff is so kind and knowledgeable and really go out of their way to make us feel welcomed. We love all of the amazing amenities, including the weight room and cardio machines, the kid’s zone, the pool and whirlpool and my personal favorite, the steam room. I can’t say enough good things about this gym! Worth every penny spent and I love how they encourage fitness for the whole family! Being able to teach my son how to be confident and comfortable in a gym is such an important skill I was never taught as a kid. Thank you YMCA Hoover for being such an impactful part of my family’s lives!
- CMCindy MAug 13, 20265.0Hoover YMCA is such a treasure. I especially enjoy 2 classes: YGT Silver has become a community of friends. I love the challenges our instructor, Pam, puts before us, the fun and laughter we share. Pilates with Sydney. I look forward to this class on Wednesdays and take her class at the Mountain Brook Y on Sundays. I appreciate the variety of things the Y has to offer.
