I came in with an active infection, carrying decades of dental anxiety, and was genuinely hopeful that a female dentist would listen. Instead, I was told they wouldn't help unless I could unload gobs of money I don't have for a root canal of the infected tooth, and was told to go elsewhere to clinics I cannot physically get to or afford. Turning away a patient with an active infection is dangerous, negligent, and bad medicine. This consult was literally the worst I have had in 5 years. This isn't patient care; it’s treating human suffering like a financial transaction.
