I do not personally use this pharmacy, yet my family members do, I have no idea why but whenever I go to pickup a prescription for one of them, it always seems to be an issue. It's either not done yet, after it being called in at 8 am and not filled by 2pm? Then told me after coming 2 times to come a 3rd time in 2 hours. Any other pharmacy ive ever been to, if you show up especially 8 hours but really anytime after a prescription is called in, they hit expedite and have it ready in 15 minutes. I have no idea why these pharmacy techs and I assume pharmacists who run the pharmacy make it so inconvenient and why does it take 10 hours to put 30 pills in a bottle, theyres Usually at least 3-5 people working and this isn't a huge or busy pharmacy, why do you do this to customers? Absolutely absurd. Also, I have picked up my dad's stroke medication that is the only thing that comes close to a little.relief from the symptoms he suffered from the stroke, everytime I pick it up I get told it is too soon to fill, but my dad's bottle says it was filled like 3 days (the previous month) before the date I came to get them, and it is not a controlled substance. I can pickup my prescriptions from my pharmacy like over 7 days before its due without any question, but these people seem to not want to give patient's medication thekr doctors have called in as if they're doctors or just want to be difficult to feel important. Even my dog's prescription is there ,yet will be changing asap, and received a text from pharmacy asking if I want them to get more refills.for dog's meds and they will contact vet, Usually it comes back a d is filled in a matter of days. I waited until she had 1 left then went there to pickup, it wasn't at the pharmacy, everytime in the past its been successful. So then, after it was called in after calling vet at 8am, came at 230pm and was told they needed to check if they had it or enough in stock, lol which my dog has had her meds filled here for 3 years so would be irresponsible to nkt have her medication in stock especially right before it's due, then was told come back in 2 more hours to pickup. What were they doing for those 8 hours after vet called it in? This isnt a busy or huge chain so I do not get ehy the slow fulfillment and the making you feel like theyre doing favors by filling and actually giving you your prescription your own prescription an actual dr has prescribed. One last thing, today was really the icing, went to pick up family members rxs and they told me they couldn't fill 1 due to it being a controlled substance and that family member had some of previous rx left, yet the new prescription was actually an increase and they held that over my(my family members head) trying to make me or them (family member) look like a drug abuser lol, I know by law anytime ANY medication is increased it is paid for by insurance instantly and its a changeon mgs and is fillable immediately, yet was told they needed to either talk to the dr first or not filling it. It is Saturday and they didn't think dr would be available lol little.do they know this dr is accessible anytime and he called in less than 1min after they supposedly called him and it was filled quickly, meaning it was already filled yet they didn't want to give to me. They withhold medications I have seen this happen, had this happen almost everytime ive gone to pickup family members rxs. HEY TOM THUMB PHARMACY: YOU ARE NOT A DO,MD OR EVEN POSSESS/CARRY ANY LICENSES THAT ARE CLOSE TO BEING A DOCTOR,PA,NP OR ANYTHING THAT HAS ABILITY TO WITHHOLD OR DECIDE WHEN SOMEONE GETS THEIR VALOD RXS CALLED IN BY A VERY VALOD DR, STOP IT'S SO UGLY TO TREAT SICK PEOPLE HOW YOU DO, ALL OF YOU DO THIS Was told by a pharmacist they are a strict pharmacy, lol as if walgreens or cvs is giving away prescriptions, no tom thumb too small too much time on their hands and on some power trip, all tx pharmacies have same rules and regulations. Do better, trying g to get fam to change pharmacies asap

Was told the Rx would be ready in 30 min to an hour. Came after 2 hrs and it still wasn’t ready. Called while I was in the parking lot and the guy said they were short staffed. I understand but why were we told a timeframe that was unrealistic? The guy just said I know and just hung up the phone. This is not necessarily the staff’s fault if they are short staffed. Tom Thumb’s management should do better.
