I was picking up a DoorDash for a customer, and they needed a box of syringes. Who knows maybe they have diabetes. The pharmacy manager would not let me take them. Then my customer calls the pharmacy and explains what was going on, And the manager still wouldn’t let me take them. Do not fill your prescriptions at this pharmacy! They do not care about you! Randalls: if you’re not going to let a DoorDash driver pick up a box of syringes for a customer, then it shouldn’t be available on your DoorDash page to add to an order.

Walgreens tends not to have the prescriptions we need in stock and must order them, whereas Randall's has them in stock. Also, when my insurance was not going to cover the item until several days had elapsed, the pharmacy worker looked for the best price online and found a very good price at GoodRx.
- MWMarissa Latta WalkerApr 29, 20231.0My husband called the pharmacy about refilling his insulin and diabetic test strips, and the pharmacist gave him unsolicited advice that he didn’t need to check his blood sugar so frequently and it was safe to go days (even a week!) without checking blood sugar after having diabetes for many years (absolutely not true). She did not appear to understand the difference between Type I and Type II diabetes, and she said he should take her advice (despite his insistence that doing so would be very unsafe) because she was a “doctor” who relied on large-scale studies rather than “just one anecdote” (i.e. my husband’s 30+ years’ experience with diabetes). It’s hard for me to believe Randall’s is ok with their employees saying things like this, and I worry about customers who might take her advice.
