- NGNikki GroteJun 9, 20255.0I didn't think I would like Pilates but REFORMER Pilates is different because you use a machine with springs. I wish I had discovered this place sooner!! The staff is AMAZING, the class is always spotless, and there is no judgment you feel due to a person's size, shape, or fitness level. Most of the classes I attend have at least half the class that are 45+, and the KEY IS TO GO SLOW! It works your muscles more, so if you have it in your head that "I can't keep up" then disregard that! The slower you go, the more muscles you work, and more tone you get. I highly recommend taking a private class or two (so you can learn wha they mean when they say "tighten your core," or other cues. I thought I was doing it correctly and then in my first private class learned to adjust the exercise to fit my own needs (lower back discomfort, etc), and I saw more results in 3 months that I saw in the previous 12 months! I highly recommend joining, and I have used Carrie for my personal lessons. A++++++++++
