I can’t say enough great things about Empower Behavioral Health in Spring, TX. I appreciate a staff that is accepting, welcoming and most of all professional. The entire team truly cares about each child’s progress and well-being. The therapists are not only knowledgeable and skilled but also patient, kind, and genuinely invested in their clients' growth. What I love as well as the clinic is clean, organized, and designed with children in mind. If you’re looking for a compassionate and effective ABA therapy clinic, I highly recommend Empower Behavioral Health.

The clinic was so clean and welcoming. What stood out the most was the 1:1 care provided. The therapists truly take the time to build meaningful relationships with each child, tailoring support in a way that feels natural and not forced. I loved seeing how they incorporated therapy into everyday play and real life situations it didn’t feel clinical, it felt like genuine care and connection. The entire team is compassionate, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s such a relief knowing our child is in the hands of people who truly care. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for quality ABA therapy with heart!

I found this provider online and got a tour, of the facility. We live in a rural area and there are not a lot of options. I'm a professional educator and to be honest, I was not impressed with anything I saw at the center. The playground was old and janky, I didn't see any toys or sensory games. I only saw adults walking nonverbal kids around the hallway. One of the older kids escaped I to the parking lot while we were there and staff had to go chase them down. Despite my better judgment, I submitted my insurance information and set up a 2 hour evaluation. The person who set up the eval told me they had gotten an estimate for coverage from my insurance company and each session would be about $30. After the evaluation, I was shocked. I have never seen my son (who is Level 1 ASD) so triggered. He had a 45 minute meltdown in which he was physically combative, no longer rational nor verbal and was sick the rest of the night. No one called me for weeks after his "evaluation", never received any paperwork or a copy of the evaluation itself. I finally called THEM and after being transferred several times, was told that he was placed on a waiting list and it could be several months before there was a slot open for him. In addition, they sent me a bill for 8 hours worth of service. His eval was only 2 hours but they say they charge for the evaluation paperwork that comes along with it. I asked if I could see the evaluation and no one could provide it to me. The billing department also told me that my insurance is denying their claims, which is not what they told me before I scheduled the evaluation. They knew about this weeks ago and never chose to contact me, but they sure want me to pay for the 8 hours they're billing me. I overlooked several red flags. I truly regret putting my son through any of that.

We found these people through our insurance and got a tour, this is not actual therapy it’s a daycare center. If you want your child to get therapy and help with coping skills but don’t want to drop them off at daycare they can’t accommodate you and this is not the place for you
