- GVGary Del ValleMar 7, 20261.0On March 7 HEB sent me an e-mail saying it was time for my 2nd shingles vaccine and showed me a schedule to make an appointment. I made the appointment for 3 PM on the same day. After driving to the store the lady told me that it was 4 days too early and that I could not get the vaccine. The lady did apologize but I pointed out that it was HEB that messaged me about the vaccine and I simply followed their instructions and received a confirmation e-mail. They should not invite me to schedule the vaccine if I am not eligible. As a consumer I don’t know when I am eligible I rely on them to tell me. It was just a waste of time and was frustrating.

Be a part of the solution rather than just complain as if you're the only person they serve. Planning is key, have your provider send in the prescription electronically and use the HEB app, it will save you time and frustration.
