  We had a really great experience at this University Health clinic. My husband went in with fever, and we were honestly a bit worried—especially since he doesn’t have insurance. Before we arrived, I called to ask if they would accept a down payment, and they kindly reassured me that they would work with us. That alone gave us some peace of mind. When we got there, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and they were very prompt—we did not have to wait at all. Martin at the front desk made us feel comfortable right away and kept conversation going, which really helped ease our nerves. Gisele (MA) was very sweet, and Nelson (LVN) treated my husband with such care and compassion, even while giving him a shot. Ida, the nurse practitioner, truly stood out. Not only was she attentive to my husband’s condition, but she also took the time to talk with me about my grief after losing my grandmother. That meant more to me than I can express. Overall, we are very satisfied with the care and kindness we received. It made a stressful situation so much easier, and we will definitely return if needed. Thank you to the entire team for your compassion and professionalism.

  Was excited for this location since it is close to home. Never again my poor mother waited about and hour did not get told what was going on or explained the paperwork. She asked to have medicine sent to a certain location and not sure if a misunderstanding happened but it got sent somewhere that she was being charged full price on. Wasted another hour going back to the original pharmacy at the Robert B Green location. I know next time just go somewhere else that has the pharmacy on site. She stated she just heard talking and giggling the entire time she waited and it was not busy at all. Also the location sends you somewhere close to lackland so becareful when you type it in Google maps.

  Walk in appointments are only available from 4-8 pm, it doesn’t state this any where on their website or in their hours. Very huge inconvenience for those of us who live near by and need to see a doctor right away. This is not the case with the other ExpressMed clinics in San Antonio.
