  1st time ever going to University Health.I was seen by Matthew he was very patient and professional. I wasn't rushed he let me explain what I was feeling and listened. Love they have a pharmacy on site such a great convenience when you aren't feeling well only took a few minutes. Thank you!

  I had a wonderful experience at the new University Health Express Med-Vida while bringing my daughter in for care. The Patient Access Team at the front was excellent and made the check-in process very smooth. I am especially grateful to Nurse Practitioner Garcia and the LVN who assisted us. They were incredibly helpful and actually listened to the detailed medical and family history provided. It is rare to find a team that takes the time to be that thorough and treat you with such care. We left with a solid plan and felt very confident in the next steps. Additionally, the on-site pharmacy was awesome! Highly recommend! Thank You. : )

  I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to Matthew Garcia, NP, at ExpressMed – University Health at Vida. After being sick for three months and being seen by three different physicians elsewhere without improving, I was still struggling significantly with my breathing. From the moment I arrived at ExpressMed, I was seen right away. Matthew Garcia was the only provider who truly listened, assessed my respiratory condition thoroughly, and understood exactly what was affecting my lungs. What impressed me the most was his level of care and dedication. He came back to check on me several times while I was in the room and did not discharge me until I was breathing better and stable. That level of attentiveness and responsibility made me feel safe and genuinely cared for — something I did not experience at the other facilities. He prescribed a treatment plan — one medication for 5 days and another inhaler — and explained clearly what to expect. Just as he said, within 2 days I started feeling like myself again. After completing the 5-day treatment, I was able to walk normally without shortness of breath. Matthew Garcia’s clinical judgment, professionalism, and compassion made all the difference in my recovery after months of struggling. I am incredibly thankful for him and the entire nursing team who took excellent care of me. ExpressMed at University Health Vida is fortunate to have a provider like him.
