But what I encountered in Dr. Andre J. Grant-Vermont, MD was something that went far beyond medical care it was compassion in its purest form. Dr. Grant-Vermont didn’t just treat my children; she saw them. She spoke to them with patience, gentleness, and respect, easing their fears in a way that only someone truly called to this work can do. As a mother of three, I am used to being the strong one but in that moment, I was able to exhale, because I knew we were in the hands of someone who genuinely cared. Her attentiveness was remarkable.
