Ms. Deborah & Ms. Susan are absolutely incompetent and have the care manner of a roach; self-serving, out for their own interests, no desire to help the patient, and shown intently through passive-aggressive behavior and communication. After i was checked in, I was informed that they had not received my orders and that I had to have the doctor's office fax the orders. I told them I had the orders also in my email, but that wasn't good enough because according to them "they had no way" to receive my email and print it out. I find that VERY had to believe because another Quest location on Hardy Oak & Sonterra in San Antonio helped me compare orders received from two doctor's so they wouldn't over lap. At that location they printed both sets of orders to compare both of which i was able to email to them. They were actually helpful. I was not able to get my doctor's office because they had already set their phones to away. Luckily I was able to fax them Susan & Deborah my orders from my email on my cell phone. When I asked them to write down the phone number, they didn't want to write the number down at first. Then finally gave me the number on a small label. They asked if I was able to get the doctor to send the fax and I said no, but that I was sending them the fax myself from my cell phone. At this point they, both just replied "Oh" and in their tone and eye contact looked upset they'd have to do my blood draw after all. Mind you, while I was working to send my fax, another family / patient came in. Ms. Deborah, rudely interacted with him that he had no appointment that they could find orders for him under his name. They then said it was under an "Ashley" and that they couldn't find it because it was under HER name. "Ashley" is the name of his Son. The father had asked if they could look to see if at any other quest location they might have the orders, but they Susan and Deborah told him there was no way to look that information up. That's interesting because how else did they find his son's information after all? And while Ms. Susan and I had the most interaction, it's pretty clear she runs the shows as many times Ms. Deborah had to come and ask Ms. Susan what to do. A third patient came in to drop off a stool sample. They both did not want to service her because she "didn't have an appointment" either. The lady replied that she had been informed she did not need an appointment as she was just simply dropping off a sample. Again, having had my own experience at another quest location with a similar test that I was simply dropping a sample off, no appointment was needed. It seemed to me that both these ladies were bothered with actually helping your patient / customers. The father was very understandingly vocal about this after they acknowledged they had his son's paperwork. Ms. Deborah kept coming to Ms. Susan for direction on how help the lady with the stool sample. So much for Protected Health Information right? I mean should I really know it was a stool sample? These two really at stunning examples of what not to have in the medical field. And if all this was bad enough, it's pretty clear Susan wanted to make it known she wasn't happy drawing my blood. That was one of the most painful draws if ever had. Clearly went through the tendon and had to move the needle further in and out of my body to keep the flow going. How do I know the tendon? I've helped others practice after completing phlebotomy certifications. Upon conclusion, I spoke to "Ashley's Father" that I would be making this review. This post will have been all over Facebook, Google, and Yelp. I will never use quest again if I have any real choice on the matter. So should anyone else. Your billing system is like your customer service; convoluted, rude, wrong, and disrespectful.
