The whole encounter from start to finish was very off putting. The free session is false advertisement. Don’t go if you’re not interested in a membership. They make it very clear that they only want your money. My friend invited me to try a free class with her. I signed up and received 5 calls, 4 voicemails, and 5 texts prior to our class. When I was finally available to talk, I was informed that the free class was truly meant for those interested in a membership and that it would be very marketing and membership focused after the free 30 minute session ended. I explained to them that I understood and truly wasn’t interested in a membership but still wanted to try the free class. I was informed that it was fine and I was encouraged to still join with the understanding that memberships and commitments will be discussed at the end of the class. I spoke to Caitlyn and I appreciated her kindness, honesty & transparency on the phone. On the morning of, an hour before my scheduled class, I was called and left a voicemail by Sydney explaining that they would prefer I don’t come to the class because I’m not interested in the membership. They recommended that I try the $30 drop in class instead. My friend confirmed the appointment and texted that we were still coming. When we arrived the door was locked and we were met by Sydney who immediately said that the instructor had already left due to us “not arriving on time to complete paperwork”. We did arrive 5 minutes before the class although were encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes early but it was not mentioned as a requirement. Come to find out my friend and I were the only ones who registered for the session. If I knew that, I would have understood that they didn’t want us to waste their time or ours. My conclusion is that they were money driven and disliked the fact that we were not interested in a membership and made up a flimsy excuse as to why we could not participate. Waste of time and gas. Poor customer service from Sydney who delivered a disingenuous apology and weak tour of the place. Wasn’t interested in membership and now I will never be.

Pure Barre has completely transformed my fitness routine—and honestly, my mindset too. The results speak for themselves: stronger, leaner, and more toned than I’ve ever been, all without beating up my body. The instructors are next-level. Every class is led with energy, precision, and genuine encouragement. They somehow know exactly when to push you and when to support you, and they make every single person in the room feel seen. What really sets this studio apart, though, is the community. It’s welcoming, motivating, and just the right amount of fun. From champagne celebrations after milestones to themed classes and challenges throughout the year, there’s always something keeping you engaged and excited to show up. Another huge plus is how accessible it is for a wide range of ages and fitness levels. Whether you’re just starting out or have been working out for years, the classes can be modified to meet you where you are while still challenging you to improve. It doesn’t matter if you’re brand new or have been coming for years—this place meets you where you are and helps you level up. If you’re looking for a workout that delivers real results and a community that keeps you coming back, Pure Barre is it. 5 stars all the way.

BEWARE of Pure Barre on Huebner!!! My friend and I signed up for a free class, and from the start, the experience felt overwhelming and honestly uncomfortable. Before the class even happened, they called me 5 times, texted 4 times, and left 3 voicemails. I understand marketing your business but this felt excessive and borderline stalker-ish. They insisted on going over membership options before the free class. I was upfront and told them I would not be signing up, but I still listened. I was told that was completely fine and that I could still attend the class. They also said it was recommended to arrive 10–15 minutes early to complete paperwork—not required. They continued to confirm our attendance multiple times, the day before and the day of, and each time I confirmed. Then, two hours before the class, they called my friend and suddenly changed the narrative, saying the class was really for people considering memberships and that we could switch to another class for $30. 🚩 I texted to reconfirm since we were already on our way, and they gave the same excuse. I told them we preferred to keep our original class, and they said we could still come. We arrived 5 minutes before class and the doors were LOCKED!!!! A woman named Sidnee eventually let us in, only to tell us the instructor had already left because we weren’t there 15 minutes early. Now it’s suddenly required? That’s not what we were told multiple times. When we pointed that out, she gave a very nonchalant apology and blamed “new staff” for giving incorrect information. Then she asked if we wanted to reschedule for next week. Since we were already there, I asked for a tour. She reluctantly gave one that lasted maybe 10 steps total. From the excessive calls and texts to the mixed messaging, lack of professionalism, and poor customer service, this place was a complete disappointment. It felt like all they cared about was pushing memberships and getting your money, not honoring what they told us or providing a welcoming experience. I would not trust this place at all. RED FLAGS ALL AROUND.
