Our clinic treats minor illnesses and injuries such as ear infections, sore throats, sprains, cuts, rashes, stomachaches and flu symptoms. Board-certified pediatricians are available throughout the week, with extended evening and weekend hours. Most major insurance plans are accepted, including Medicaid and Medicare. My child had a fall at school and banged up his face, and as a worried mom, I was really anxious. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. PNP Peterson took the time to thoroughly check my child and reassure me that he was okay, which made a world of difference. This was also my first time using the “Reserve A Time” feature, and it made the whole process so much easier. I was able to share what happened ahead of time and let the team know exactly why we were coming in. It truly helped streamline the visit and made me feel even more supported. Thank you to the entire staff for taking such great care of my little one and for giving one scared mom so much peace of mind. Highly recommend!

From the moment we first walked in, all of the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The nurse Hector was fabulous! He was professional, respectful, helpful, and was great with my grandchild. It was clear that he loves working with children and providing a safe and caring environment for them. Dr. Anunobi, the doctor, was also very nice. She listened to us and thoughtfully explained everything to us. It makes such a huge difference to find a place where your child is getting the care that they need, and that everyone feels valued as a family. I know that people commonly post when they have had a negative experience (which I have done in the past), but I just had to share how nice this visit was. I hope this helps someone see that this is a wonderful place!

Do you offer telemedicine/virtual visits?
Yes. Telemedicine visits are available for children (age 2 and older) with availability Monday–Sunday 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Call 210-644-3209 to schedule a telemedicine visit.
What types of services and treatments do you offer?
We treat minor illnesses and injuries, including asthma and allergies, broken bones, cold and flu symptoms, ear infections, coughs and sore throats, diarrhea or vomiting, rashes, sprains, strep throat, and urinary tract infections. Services include lab tests, X-ray imaging, breathing treatments, antibiotic injections, wound care (stitches or tissue adhesive), foreign body removal, PCR COVID-19 testing, post-exposure tetanus and rabies vaccinations, and sports physicals.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. PediExpress accepts most private and government insurance plans, including Medicaid, Medicare, and CHIP.
