  BLUF: Staff & patrons need to do a better job of maintaining this overall wonderful gym. I decided to check out this gym for myself. There's things I really like about it & things I find disgusting. Of the 8 gyms I've worked out at in the area, this gym ranks the worst in cleanliness (Gold's Gym off Bulverde Rd ranks #1). However, I enjoyed the many amenities. This gym ranks 2nd in amenities (LifeTime gym ranks #1). Yes, staff need to do a better job at maintaining cleanliness & enforcing standards. However, the patrons need to be more considerate of this public gym & stop being so nasty. Clean up after yourself! It's disgusting (see attached photos of the women's locker room). Pros: - Ample parking - Friendly staff - Open layout - Variety of equipment - Women's Only workout area - Seating/Chill area - Towels - Hot tub - Sauna - Steam Room - Pool - Pickle ball - Racket ball - Locker rooms are spacious & they have feminine hygiene products stocked (e.g., mouthwash, lotion, hair gel, hair blower, etc.). Cons: - Cleanliness - Don't enforce cleanliness from patrons - Allow patrons to enter the hot tub, sauna, & steam rooms naked (they didn't shower before either). 🤢 - Super outdated/needs updated (severly stained & worn out carpet and furniture).

  Since Monday (so, for at least 3 days), the gym is filthy. There are towels flowing out of the dirty towel hampers. There are paper towels all over the floor. The bathrooms are filthy and disgusting. There is mold growing in the showers. Clean it up (and disinfect it) or close it down. Don't really care which. This place is a health risk. This is a follow up to my initial comments. You can disregard their response. It's poppycock. They know what a good corporation would say, but it's over 10 days and the place remains filthy. Stay aware from here!

  Manager walks into dry sauna and talk at the door wide open. No consideration. Their amenities are spotty at best, not working and dirty. Not friendly

  I love this gym. My husband and I have been going there for several years. The staff is polite, the sports equipment is in order. But please wash the pool more often, instead of adding endless chlorinating substances. Everything has to be balanced. You can see the mud at the bottom of the pool, guys, you can't leave it like that, it's terrible. 3 stars just because of unclean pool

  Yo, I don't get all the neg reviews for real. If gym stuff is dirty, broken, etc., it's because of trashy, inconsiderate & irresponsible people. Yes, yes the gym employees need to clean & disinfect and do whatever they need to do, but c'mon y'all, use common sense, this is a public place, it's not going to be immaculately clean 24/7. We have zero complaints on this place, we like the classes, the instructors are great, and it's within a quick drive from where we live. We really do enjoy this location.
