About

Medical ClinicHealth Clinic
University Health Refugee Clinic provides Refugee Medical Screening services for individuals and families newly arriving in the United States. Established in 2008, it is the only Refugee Medical Screening clinic in Texas not operated by a local health department. Our team reviews overseas medical records, completes health histories, and provides physical exams and mental health assessments. We offer required vaccinations, lab testing for infectious diseases and pregnancy, and guidance on next steps for ongoing health care. Our goal is to help refugees connect with essential health services as they begin their new lives in our community.
