  I was concerned about a few spots on my face and my back, so I scheduled an appointment. Dr Martin, set me at ease and only had to send one off to be checked out. He set me at ease.

  We sent our 19 year old son to Dr. Vela, his first time going to the doctor without a parent with him. Our son had something on his arm Dr Vela said it was a wort that would clear up on its own. However he went ahead and removed without telling us the cost. With insurance it was $440 out of pocket. Then because he wanted verification of his own diagnosis he sent it to pathology on our dime, and they charged us another $300 out of pocket with insurance! $740 for wort removal plus whatever the insurance paid Vela! We called to get in with the other doctors but they were full. Dr. Vela had plenty of openings obviously due to his inability, lack of knowledge and takes advantage of young adults.

  The staff and Dr. Henslee were fantastic! I didn't have an appointment and the front office staff were nice and still figured out how to helped me. I was expecting to come back another day but they fit me in the same day. This was even right before their lunch hour. Dr. Henslee was pleasant and efficient. I was seen on Tuesday of last week and he personally called me with results today. 3 days earlier than I expected. I recommend them to the fullest.

  I almost cancelled my office visit with Dr. John Martin. I'm so glad I didn't. He is located at 7790 Floyd Curl in the Medical Center tower 1 on the 8th floor suite 101. I was about 20 minutes late to my appointment because of GPS navigation. His staff patiently helped with directions. When I arrived I filled out first time patient forms sat and waited no more than 15 minutes. Dr. Martin is a very sweet, patient, and respectful doctor. I'm so glad I decided to experience this first hand. I think he's branching off on his own. I highly recommend. New patient.

  For some reason this comes up with my wife's name, and she has never used this clinic. I am the patient, John Thompson, and am the one writing this review. First, Dr. Henslee is an excellent dermatologist. Their office sucks. The last five times I was there, the times I was called to the back for my appointment were any where from 35 minutes to one hour after my scheduled time. Prior to my keeping the time, I don't remember ever being called back close to my scheduled time. I have better things to do with my time than waste it waiting for an appointment. I have changed to a different clinic, and for my appointment this past Monday, from the time I got there until I was out the door was 35 minutes. That included getting there 15 minutes early to get all of the new patient paperwork done. In addition, the end of May I had requested my medical records be sent to the new clinic, and they had not received them when I got there Monday. I tried to call the records department at SA Skin Cancer to tell them to send my records, and I got their voice mail. I have yet to hear back from them. SA Skin & Cancer.
