I had a great experience meeting her for my first appointment since moving to San Antonio from out of state. I'm very impressed! She was running late due to an emergency surgery for one of her patients. I didn't mind waiting because that is the nature of the job, and it wasn't too long of a wait. I have had this experience with my other OBGYN, and know that good doctors take the time to give their patients the best care possible.

The treatment coordinator (Diana) I spoke with was very dismissive and unhelpful. When I explained that I was requesting comfort measures to ensure I could complete the appointment without pain, she interrupted and said, “No, the doctor isn’t at liberty to prescribe meds to new patients without seeing them first.” I wasn’t asking for a prescription over the phone, just reassurance or options to help reduce pain during the visit. Instead, I felt brushed off and not listened to. Patients deserve compassion, clear communication, and trauma-informed care, especially during sensitive procedures like Pap smears. I hope this office reconsiders how they respond to new patients who express anxiety or pain concerns.

They wont call you to tell you the doctor is out the day of your appointment that's been scheduled for over 3months, but turn you aware when you get to the office, with no regard for travel or pto to be there on time, but they will charge you a $50 fee for same day cancelation. They can call and email the day before to remind you to show up on time but to hell with communication the day when they've been open for hours to contact clients and tell them don't bother coming in. Great doctors, horrible receptionist
