Kedplasma is very welcoming. Ms Sylvia and Ms Teresa were kind and helpful and they got us through the registration process very quickly although we could not donate. I misunderstood one of the screening techs (Ashley) during the process yet she was very classy about it, so I really appreciate her decorum and she couldn't have been more professional. There was a brown-skinned young lady with a single braided ponytail (I didn't catch her name) but she was very skilled at finding vein placement that was hard to see for some so hopefully we can request her when donating rather than getting stuck repeatedly and bruising. Kedplasma was the cleanest and most organised plasma facility that I've been to. While registering I noticed a line forming at the screening station, I went to the restroom and when I came back out there were only two people left waiting. Seems that the staff are proactive in covering empty screening booths to keep donation traffic from getting out of hand. I would definitely suggest Kedplasma to anyone thinking about donating.

So I am a new donor I’ve never donated before, and I didn’t think that my sexuality preference would be an issue with me donating. I went through the whole process pretty much and they had me answer 70 questions and one of the questions asked if “I was a male that slept with other males” and I answered YES because obviously I’m gay! I have no shame in my game and I am open about my sexuality and that sense. when I was doing the physical at the very end of the process before I donated, the nurse told me that I wouldn’t be able to move forward and donate at any of their plasma centers because I answered YES to that question, Where it says if you are a male that’s Sleeps with another male and I answered yes. She also said that I was a high risk to the community because I was gay. I was confused about the whole situation because I didn’t think that would be a problem. I saw gay people working there so that made me feel comfortable but once again I couldn’t donate because of that problem that they had with me. I asked to speak with the manager, and he told me basically that was one of the rules and regulations, and because they share that information with the whole country pretty much that I wasn’t able to donate. He didn’t really care about my concern and he said “ I Was there any other problem you have” I was like no thank you! mind you I have never donated before here in the state of Texas. So just a fair warning if you are gay and go to donate, you probably won’t be able to. Be aware of scammers and fake people.
