  I recently began seeing Dr. Shaun Jackson, a Pain Management specialist, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Coincidentally, he trained with the Houston specialist who treated me multiple times each year since 2018 for spine pain related to kyphosis and scoliosis, including care following my full spine reconstruction in 2022. Naturally, I was anxious about transitioning to a new provider following my move to San Antonio and even considered traveling to Houston for treatment. However, Dr. Jackson’s impressive training, credentials, and approachable demeanor quickly put me at ease. He communicates openly and thoroughly, answering all questions and explaining every step of the process. My first procedure with Dr. Jackson was as successful as any I’ve ever had. I chose conscious sedation, which had a modest out-of-pocket fee, but it was highly effective and made the experience comfortable and stress-free. Dr. Jackson’s office runs efficiently, with minimal wait times for consultations and in-office procedures. His entire staff is exceptional—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. Special thanks to Shae, who makes check-in effortless; Michelle, the Medical Assistant, Jen, the Registered Nurse, and Ronda, all of whom ensured I felt comfortable and informed throughout the procedure. I also want to acknowledge Misty for her precise imaging, which allowed Dr. Jackson to have perfect visualization of the treatment area. Because I will require multiple procedures to manage my spine pain, I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a skilled specialist. Dr. Jackson’s expertise, combined with his pleasant and reassuring manner, truly enhances the overall experience. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his team.

  From the beginning Dr Jackson has managed my pain. He's kind, attentive and easy on the eyes! His staff is amazing. Thank you girls. Before going to Dr Jackson I was using a walker and was in tremendous pain daily. It has been 2 years and I no longer use a walker. I schedule around 2 to 3 injections a year.

  While I had a positive first visit with Dr. Jackson, who thoroughly explained different scenarios for my pain, my experience with the office staff has been very disappointing. There was a full month's delay in getting a callback to schedule injections. The staff is friendly, but I am concerned about this ongoing pattern of administrative errors and lack of follow-through since June. For a patient who is in alot of pain, this is unacceptable.

  All the staff is so nice and kind. Starting with Ms Shane at the front office she is simply outstanding and friendly. Nurse Jenn S. She, is a 💯% angel! She has a healing touch. Nurse Lisa, always making sure I am feeling well enough after the procedures, is Angel #2 . Nurses Michelle and Ronda, complete the team also certified and qualified angels. Dr Jackson is also one of the best doctors I have had treating me. Thank you for all you do. God bless you all

  During the first visit I was already low on hope for something to help in an anatomical way- I've had a whole pain journey since I was 17. Ive had the imaging which is needed to know what is wrong with low back but I cant get any provider to actually help v.s all the alternatives I had already tried. This provider gave me slight encouragement that someone will help. He described 2 procedures [stem cell inj and Partial disectomy] and said they would need to get in touch w/ insurance & find out pricing. The end of the first appointment I was told the next appointment would be to go over the procedures and cost. So- I brought my husband & 2 kids so that he could know also- the appointment was in San Antonio even though first I had seen him in NB. At the appt in SA I was quite dissapointed. I went there to know cost but was actually being sold on other "alternative methods" I was told about infared sauna & shown the one they have and that the ladies in the front would give me pricing. We got to the front after seeing the sauna and asked- they said they will call me with that information. When they called they said the Dr. had wanted me to do some T shape device and the infrared sauna and something else which was not either of the 2 procedures he had mentioned. So I asked about the cost for these 2 procedures bc thats all I've wanted since the first appt. They said they will need to get back to me. 😐 I have not heard anything since. I not only feel more dissapointed in yet another pain specialist but- Dr. Jackson also turned out to be quite shady in his practice. I am now out $120 for both visits & not any closer to relief. If you're looking for alternative treatments then you might like going here. Though, even those are a rip off- Ive found other businesses with same options but for cheaper.
