Parking is good. Reception is good. Check in was good. Specialist on ultrasound and CT and MRI are good. Nurses are good. Results sent quickly to phone. Waited on doctors to go over Results but never came, and was moved 3 times to different locations. After total time of 8+ hours and no doctor came. Left with Results in phone and took to appointment I made while waiting.

Went to the ER a few weeks ago. The staff was professional and courteous. Sarah Lancaster and Austin Cummings were very informative and showed professional courtesy. Sarah was empathetic and calming while Austin's attention to detail showed value in proper care. Thank you to the team.

Is there an option for Zero Stars? I understand now why they have a 2.0 rating. I ended up waiting almost 8 hours is extreme pain from a stuck gal stone. No one checked on me - The girl who took my EKG left all the stickers on me. The staff looked lost and unorganized. I get it's an emergency room but organization is key. The staff even scared me by yelling at me to move here then there not not there here. Im in pain can't really stand and I'm being yelled at. Didn't seem like anyone had any bedside manners. People lined up in a tiny hallway - didn't look like they knew how to prioritize patients. I could hear the nursing staff laughing at me because I had to be pricked several times for a blood draw. Then I could hear them saying she probably suffers from anxiety. Why is this even a topic of conversation? This one nurse could be heard complaining about her boyfriend. One guy was bleeding another girl was passed out on the floor and there was no urgency to help these people. Horrible I'd never go there again. I can't wait to see my bill. You bet I'll be asking for an itemized bill just to see what they are charged me for. Don't go there for an emergency.

I reached out to the patient advocate and was kindly assisted by staff in hearing my story. The PCC reached out later that afternoon to hear my side of things and was very kind and patient in doing so. I was worried my review would just get washed under the bridge but it did not. I was heard and the hospital reached out. That was a very nice surprise.

It’s ridiculous how long they make their patients wait. All they do is laugh and play around - you literally hear it. They’re rude and dismissive. Only one person tries to do anything while everyone just stands there. It’s crazy to wait over 8 hours when your husband is in pain. I wish you could give them zero stars. It’s absurd how they treat people here.

I built up the courage to finally write this because what happened to me in the ER couple months ago was honestly unbelievable.
I came in needing care like any other patient, but it quickly became clear that not everyone is treated the same here. As i was put into a room late at night then shoved right out as soon as i start feeling better. I heard the staff discussing about how the ER director apparently thinks the rules don’t apply when it comes to her own family. Her mom showed up and suddenly she was treated like some kind of VIP while the rest of us were just pushed aside.
I was literally kicked out of my room and moved into a hallway bed so her mom could have it. No explanation, no apology, nothing. Just was told "Were moving you to a hallway bed". Imagine already feeling sick or worried about your health and then being shoved into a hallway where people are constantly walking by, no privacy, noise everywhere, and staff barely checking in.
It made me feel like I didn’t matter at all as a patient. Healthcare is supposed to be about fairness and care, not favoritism and pulling rank for family members.
I honestly didn’t even want to post this, but patients deserve to know what goes on behind the scenes here. If you’re not considered “important,” don’t expect to be treated like you are. I was encouraged to write this after telling my experience to another nurse here at baptist. This was not right.
Extremely disappointing experience.

What is the visitor policy for patients in the Emergency Department/hospital?
University Health encourages family support but may limit the number of visitors per patient and requires visitors under age 13 to be accompanied by an adult. Visitation may be restricted for patients with contagious conditions. Masks/face coverings are optional unless clinically indicated; check the hospital’s Visitor webpage for current guidance and any temporary restrictions.
Where can I park and what are parking details?
