  I need to be able to give leas than 1 star. No one’s loved ones should have to suffer due to the callous incompetence that we have experienced. My mom was transported from the hospital back to her normal facility with Traditions Hospice. When we arrived, no equipment had been delivered. We had to wait 4 1/2 hours for her hospital bed and oxygen to arrive. Later at 1:30am she began to struggle to breathe and we found out that no comfort medicines had been delivered. I was on the phone arguing with a triage nurse and finally got them to send 1 prescription to a 24 hour pharmacy. I picked it up at 3 am. They refused to send out a nurse immediately and told us one would be there with other medication at 8am. By 9am I was back on the phone with them. At that point no one had even picked up the medication. After claims of the pharmacy being out and having to transfer the prescription to a closer pharmacy, an employee with a car broken down on the side of the road, and bad traffic, a nurse finally arrived with meds at 11:54am - 23 hours after discharge. We have switched Hospice companies, but now are still struggling to bring her pain and struggles under control because once it is out of control, it takes a lot to bring it back under control. I would not wish this hell on anyone.

  My family's experience with Guiding Hospice, now Traditions, was the most unprofessional, disorganized, stress invoking experience I've ever had. At a time when a family needs guidance and compassion, they provided mistake after mistake after mistake, took my dad's dignity away, could not agree on the procedures from representative to representative, misled us on numerous occasions and the very last indignation was calling me to tell me my dad had passed.......when in fact their RN on duty had reported the wrong individual. Yes! They told me dad had passed when he had not! Had we not decided to employ caregivers from a private pay firm, I can not imagine what other indignities would have been seen. Stay as far away from them as possible and if you happen to hear the names Aimee Crump, Andrea Wilkerson, Mike Benson or Tim Kruger, RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE, WORTHLESS, PATHETIC excuse for a hospice organization.
