- CYChristopher Yanik6 days ago4.0Hi. I love HEB and the pharmacy, but I dont think its a good idea to place credit cards in the bag of meds at the drive thru. When I went thru the drive thru at HEB yesterday, when the automated delivery box got to the far lane with my meds, the box doors flung open and the bag fell out to the ground. I had to pull up, get out of the car and pick the bag up. Now distracted, I didnt even think about the card. Fast forward to today at work, I realize my credit card is missing. Knowing I used it last at HEB the day prior and what happened, I wondered if it to fell to the ground as well and I missed it. I left work immediately to check if anyone turned it in at HEB. Nobody did. I asked the guy at the pharmacy if they still put credit cards in the bag with the meds and he said no. They clip it to the clipboard in the box. Went home, dug the bag out of the garbage and sure enough...there it was in the bag. I'm requesting to please not place credit cards in the bag. I realize some of this is on me, but placing cards in the bag is not a good idea. Especially with the distraction of everything falling to the ground at the drive thru due to a faulty system. Also, it might help to get that delivery box fixed since my wife said same thing happened to her the day prior. Anyway, I'm glad I hadn't taken that garbage can with my card in it to the road this morning since it is our weekly garbage day as well.
