Excellent experience at this urgent care. The front desk staff and Ivan were friendly and efficient. Kimberly, the NP, was kind, professional, and direct—I felt confident in the care I received.
The PA was fantastic. I took my nephew in for illness yesterday morning and she took great care of him. She was thorough in her discussion and exam. He’s feeling much better. Everyone else was nice and welcoming. Small, clean facility. Highly recommend.

I went to AFC Urgent Care – Richmond (Aliana / New Territory) for an employment drug screen and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Although I can’t remember the front desk associate’s name, she was absolutely amazing—professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. She made the check‑in process smooth, explained everything clearly, and got me in and out quickly without feeling rushed. The entire visit was seamless and stress‑free. I highly recommend this location for anyone needing occupational health services or urgent care.
It was good. I walked in and quickly saw the nurse practitioner and was treated for the hives that I had. The only reason that I'm giving 4 stars is because I don't feel like they were as concerned about how they were spreading as they should have been. When I left I was still really anxious and panicking about them. I'm not a Dr. though. I'm sure they knew what they were doing and my anxiety got the best of me.
Edit: I'm editing this review and switching to 5 stars because they just reached out to make sure that I'm doing ok. In my opinion that's what makes service from good to outstanding and I really appreciated it.

We only use AFC when we are in town visiting family. We’ve always had a decent experience, until today. All the staff were wonderful, except for the doctor. She judged me for coming in seeking treatment because she didn’t feel my reason for coming in was “urgent”. It was Saturday morning and I wasn’t in my home town. Am I supposed to just suffer with a painful rash all weekend and HOPE I can get in with my PCP first thing Monday morning??? I paid my fee, filled out the paperwork, and had a legitimate medical reason to be there that did require a prescription medication to fix. She was in my appointment for literally 2 minutes. The fact that she insinuated that my visit wasted her time was incredibly unprofessional. I will no longer be using AFC when in town because of her choice in shaming me for seeking care.
EDIT: I have chosen to add an additional star to my original 2 star review after speaking with Karen, the Office Manager. She was lovely and made me feel heard. She appreciated my feedback and I feel confident that she will be addressing my negative experience with this provider. I am still unsure if I will use AFC again, especially since I am not local, but I am grateful for her going the extra mile and reaching out to me personally.
