- TLT LeinweberMay 6, 20231.0I've just had the worst experience I have ever encountered in the 8+ years that I have been having my monthly prescriptions filled at Tom Thumb (using Gold X Card) vs. my insurance company preferred provider CVS. We have purposely gone to Tom Thumb for the great customer service we have received for many years from the professional staff of pharmacist and technicians. Let's just say that this "roving" pharmacist is someone I would choose not to every speak with or ever want her handling my prescription business again. I did not appreciate the way she continued to speak over me during our conversation or her overall demeanor when she tried to tell me that a refill prescription I was checking into was not in my profile and had just been filled two weeks ago. If she hadn't been talking over me and had just listened she would have heard me say I have 3 prescriptions for the same drug in different dosages and delivery methods. As the customer, I am sure I know a hell of a lot more about all the medications I am taking and definitely better than someone who is "roving" and viewing my profile for the first time. Great customer service comes from listening to your customer and what they have to say rather than talking over them through the entire conversation. I truly hope this is not the future of Tom Thumb customer service.
