I’ve been going to Pure Barre Richardson for five years, and it continues to challenge me in the best way. The instructors are amazing—energetic, motivating, and genuinely supportive. They’re the main reason I keep showing up! The studio is also well run. If you’re looking for a positive, encouraging fitness community, PB Richardson is it! Your muscles will thank you.
Great place with an incredible instructors and staff! Each class feels fun and vibrant and really has a way of making you feel better emotionally and physically! Pure barre Richardson has become my happy place

I attended this Pure Barre location from October through March and have been doing Pure Barre for about three years at the Arlington and College Station studios, so I have other studios to compare it to.
The space is consistently clean and well maintained, and the staff and members are genuinely very friendly and welcoming, which made for a great environment. The workout itself follows the classic Pure Barre method, so you still get a solid and consistent class.
This is the only studio I’ve been to that does not offer a water dispenser, so you have to purchase water if you forget yours, and there are no small emergency items like hair ties. Not a huge issue, but different from other locations. I also noticed that many of the resistance bands are quite worn and stretched out, and the newer ones and better mats get taken quickly during full classes.
My main concern was the limited form correction. The choreography can be creative and sometimes difficult to follow, and without consistent guidance it can take away from the value of an in-person class. Also instructors were not very quick to promote morale, and in some classes or felt like they were just going through the motions rather than energetically directing a class and encouraging the people in the room. (Melanie did a great job at this and so did Allyson so shout out to them for always being in cue and energetic!) The music and movements also don’t always line up, which affects the overall flow and energy compared to other studios.
Classes do start exactly on time, which is great, but there is no late entry at all, so plan accordingly.
Overall, this is a clean studio with a kind community and a good workout. With more consistent form corrections, updated equipment, and a few added amenities, it would be on par with other Pure Barre locations I’ve attended
I loved my first experience at Pure Barre in Richardson. I was a little nervous as I am new to working out. The instructor Brittany helped me with some of my exercise positions while making me feel comfortable. Thank you so much for giving me a great workout. I will be back.
