    • Horrible experience, don't go to this location. I went to this location because it was new and close. I ordered a pair of new glasses on a Monday, got word they were in late Thursday, went Friday morning to pick them up they were done incorrectly - the manager Michael was there (they were done for distance instead of close up) they had to be redone. Tuesday I called spoke to the assistant manager because Michael wasn't in, and was told that the glasses were never reordered. Extremely upset because I am using a pair of glasses from 4 years ago because the most current ones I had were broken and when asked to fix them when I was in there they could not. So the assistant manager stated she would order them and she sent me a receipt, I asked for a call from the manager she said she would have him call me back. She called me back and said they were going to give me $50.00, she ended up calling me later saying he wasn't coming in but she left a note for him to call me tomorrow. Fine I said.........now since the glasses only took 4 days to come in when they were incorrect I would expect them to come in quick when they made a mistake. I get a vm from the manager on Friday night at 6:40 saying he wanted to touch base about my experience. He was just now getting back to me from Tuesday. I called him Saturday morning and asked why he was just now returning my call, he stated it was the only time he had. Okay somehow I doubt LensCrafters in Prosper is that busy. lol Customer Service obviously is not a number one priority to him. I asked what his Regional Manager's name is so I could speak to him, his name is Mark O'Neil but of course no way to reach out to him. Just a joke. So I still do not have my glasses, its been two weeks and all he can say is opps sorry I made a mistake. The assistant manager in Prosper needs to be made manager she cares more about customer service than he does and maybe if she is promoted then maybe that store will do some good. This will be my last time going, first and last - back to Stonebriar I go. • I have already gone to the website you have below a few times. It’s useless.

Had a great experience with Hailey! She was very informative, patient and professional as my husband and I looked for lenses and pricing options. I highly recommend this new location in Prosper!

I don’t even know where to begin with this location. I have been waiting OVER A MONTH for a pair of glasses that should have been simple to get right. I finally received the purple Meta frames I really wanted, and guess what — they fit NOTHING like the black pair I originally tried. Not even close. They ordered a second pair to “fix” the issue, and it STILL had the exact same problem. To make matters worse, a representative actually scratched my lens while trying to swap it into the new frame, which forced me to wait even longer. At that point it felt like insult added to injury. I drive all the way from Plano to Prosper for this place, and every trip has been a complete inconvenience with zero resolution. After weeks of delays, poor handling of my glasses, and constant back-and-forth, I finally asked for a refund — only to be told they had to “call higher-ups” instead of just making it right. Then they had the nerve to suggest I keep another pair because “nothing is wrong with them.” No. I’m not keeping anything when the main thing I paid for couldn’t be delivered correctly. Now I’m stuck without glasses at all because of this experience. What should have been an easy, professional service turned into a frustrating, drawn-out mess. Completely unacceptable.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
