Horrible experience! Very rude! Basically went three times to place one order/get clarification. First time waited extensively and when I was finally placing order their insurance portal was down. No problem, went next day, instead of running rayben frames through my insurance they ran burberry frames(never had been mentioned or tried these) and quoted $600+. Then assistant manager Hind jumped in, gave me 2 different quotes($11 and $50) with very little breakdown . Went to register thinking total was $50 but all of a sudden total jumped to $125? Was informed 125 was for polycarbonate as I have gotten polycarbonate in past and that’s what’s recommended… seemed like a steep jump. After doing some research on and wanting further clarification I went back. Assistant manger Hind was very rude and unprofessional. Felt brushed off, she was making weird/rude faces throughout, just very demeaning interaction overall. Do not recommend! Lack in customer service. Very little transparency regarding pricing. Please go elsewhere. Not worth the hassle.

Honestly this was the first and last time I use this place for my glasses I wish i could get my refund back and go somewhere else. I have never had any issues like this before at other stores but this one really pissed me off. When we first stopped by to look at glasses they just made us look around to see which ones we wanted but I wanted to know what my insurance covered so I had to tell them if they could pull it up. Honestly I asked so many questions because they really did not try to explain anything to me. Then when it was time to pick up my new glasses I went back to show them that they were scratched and its more noticeable if you are in the sun. So I went back and was not too upset about it I wanted to show them and explain it to them but the first older lady was so rude to me she raised her hand at me to be quiet and that she will figure out what's going on. She said it was just dirty and she cleaned it, but when I went back to the car it still had the scratches so I went back the other employees kept saying I don't see anything but only one of them saw exactly what I was talking about and the others are just like well will send it to the lab and see acting like I'm crazy or something but its them not even able to see them, and i thought I was the blind one, but go figure. Honestly they are very rude and curt I could of gone full blown "Karen" on them but I'm not like that so I was not raising my voice or anything I just had issues and questions but you can't really get through to them being nice. Considering we paid over 1,000 for our glasses I was hoping they would of been professional at their jobs and be helpful to us but we will definitely not come back at all once I finally get it glasses again I never want to be back at this place again.

Excellent customer service and very helpful with understanding my insurance benefits from Hind 🙂 ..now I have purchased from here before and when I was told my glasses were ready by text I got there and were not ready so this time I called to make sure they were ready before I drove there and I was told by Connie that she was to busy to look and see if they were in and to call back in 15 minutes or so...I did not appreciate the dismissive customer service..im sure the computer was infront of her where she answered the phone

Other than the 2 young ladies who checked me into my eye exam appointment, everyone at this LensCrafters location needs some serious serious customer service training. Dr Patel walked in the exam room and said “How can I help you?” As if she had no idea why someone would be sitting in an eye exam room. She never once said hello, good morning, how are you today, nothing. The entire exam with her was very cold and transactional. After I received my glasses prescription, I went next door and spent a lot of money on the new Ray Ban Meta glasses. Unsurprisingly, no one on the glasses side of the store was friendly either. Again, very cold and transactional. I finally received a text that my glasses were ready. When I went to pick them up, I walked in and the first thing shouted to me was “Just give me a minute, I need to log in!” WOW… No hello, no be with you in just a moment. Need I say more? I wear glasses and contacts. I order new glasses every single year and I order contacts all year long. I would have spent a lot of money here over the years and even recommended my family and friends had the staff had an ounce of customer service. This was my first and last time at this location. I’d avoid this location at all costs if common courtesy is important to you. I love my Meta glasses, but wish I would have spent my time and money elsewhere.

I ordered glasses and requested a light tint. The team tried to accommodate me, but the lenses ended up being closer to a dark sunglass tint. At first, it wasn’t exactly what I pictured, but I went with the flow. After wearing them for a day or two, though, I realized the prescription didn’t feel right—everything looked blurry at a distance. I took them back, and the associate I spoke with went to the back and told me the prescription looked perfect, so I was advised to see the doctor. However, when they did a lens reading, it was confirmed that my left lens was actually incorrect and needed to be adjusted. I then spoke with the store manager, and she reworked the order and switched the lenses to plastic so I could get the tint at a level 2. I was happy and thought everything was resolved. Tonight, I received a text that the remade pair was ready—but unfortunately, the prescription is wrong again, and there is no tint at all. Like literally the wrong numbers in the system. I don’t know how that happened two times in a row. I don’t usually post about things like this, but I wanted to share my experience. I have been wearing glasses for over a decade and never seen anything like this. Hopefully third time’s the charm. I’ll update once it’s resolved.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
