  I don't normally do reviews, but ABC123 Pediatric dentistry really upset me and basically wasted my time. Back in July, my 15 year old daughter needed a sealant, the treatment plan had an $85 charge for sealant on one tooth; however, I knew my insurance covered it. They said it didn't. I called my insurance, spoke to a rep, and he said sealants are covered until their 16th birthday. He offered to call the office with me on the line, but the front desk person said the insurance coordinator wasn't there. They said they would send out a PRED that could take up to 2 weeks to come back. I followed up and they confirmed the sealant was covered. She had her appointment today for a cleaning and sealant, but the sealant was not done. My husband took them to the appointment, so when they came home and told me the sealant was not done, I asked why. They said the the assistant "forgot to do it" and they were sorry. They wanted to reschedule during a school day, and I said no. They came back and said that the sealant is not covered--AGAIN! This is not the first time they try to charge me for something that is covered. At this point, I just asked for the process to get a copy of the dental records, and we are moving on. I don't have time to do my job and the dental front desk's as well. I would look elsewhere for a pediatric dentist. Mine are at the age where they can go to a regular dentist, so that's what we will be doing.

  This dentist office told me my child had cavities, did not provide informed consent for anesthesia or the procedure options even though I called the office twice asking to speak with the doctor about this, then unsuccessfully filled in these “cavities”. They charged me $360 for not filling cavities and sedation that didn’t work, and when I went to another dentist, they said there was no need to treat these extremely small cavities even if they doubled in size. They’re obviously looking to just bill insurance with this stuff. Also, I never got my $60 check back in the mail for the lack of services. They also are super inflexible if you miss your appointment even if your kids are sick. They want to charge $50 and you need to bring a medical doctors excuse. If you read more reviews, they try to get parents to do procedures on their kids often, charge them for nitrous and can’t actually do the procedure. Please go to another dentist that is less invasive.

  We have been going to ABC 123 for many years now and and have always had great service. The staff is great with my girls.
