About

Mental Health Service
At ACCESS, we provide services to children and adults living with mental illness. Living with a mental illness can seem to be an immovable obstacle to the person diagnosed, as well as to their family and friends. The change brought on by the illness might be slow or sudden and the destructive potential is always present. ACCESS is here to help facilitate recovery and provide support services to individuals and their loved ones. ACCESS does not exclude someone from treatment based on ability to pay. Services are delivered on the basis of consumer need, without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, age, physical handicap, medical disability, military status, citizenship status, sexual orientation, gender identity.

Most of the people there are helpful and friendly, but when speaking to their nurse, Sara, over the phone, she’s always a bit rude. I’ve left messages for her, when she returns my call she doesn’t leave a vm for me, when being transferred to her, it always goes to vm, once you’re able to speak with her, she has no clue what you’re calling for. I ask her if she got my voicemail, she stated she didn’t even listen to it, so I explained again what I needed. When asking for medical records to be emailed, she just said no, at the end of our conversation, I ask her why I wasn’t allowed to have that information, she then tells me I could come pick them up. Would have been so simple to tell me that from the beginning. The nurses before her never failed to leave a vm, and never seemed rude over the phone.

One can only think that a mental health facility would be concerned about mental health, like time management and the results it has on a person's mental health. Seek other locations before here. Use it as a last resort.

The sorriest place I have ever taken my kids to. If I could get away with not taking them I would. There is always a problem with getting the medication or it is always being changed.

Awful, awful place. If you weren't suffering from mental illness before you came to access, after dealing with the incompetent people who work there will surely have driven you crazy. Cindy and Yolanda and Rick are the only good things about that place. There's not a single certified Doctor on the entire premises- every Dr you encounter will be through webcam. The women in the back who are there to do intake are incredibly rude and condescending. They all remind me of Jane Umbridge from the Harry Potter series. Do not expect to get your prescriptions filled on time, but do expect to jump through hoops to make sure these idiots are getting their state payout. You will feel crazier and more depressed coming out than when you went in. I'd advise against access and it's pitiful services. Find a real Doctor or psychiatrist and skip this hellhole of a clinic. Save your sanity.
