Because of his high levels of patient care, concern, and expertise - I followed him to his new workplace despite the considerable additional travel. He is knowledgeable, yet approachable, and dedicated to helping people. I highly recommend him to others. He did a wonderful job repairing my foot - which is still healing but already better than before.
- FFFnA FloydFeb 25, 20251.0I had a broken piece of sewing needle in my foot. I was referred to Dr Rousseau by my PCP. Upon my first visit I found these guys to be very dry, no personality. I get it, it's a job. Lady at front desk is not mean, but is not outgoing either. Sign the book and sit down. My exam went fine, we scheduled surgery. Surgery went well. Went back after 1 week as he instructed on surgery day. He acted shocked as if I came a week early. He pretty well brushed me off and rescheduled a visit for 2 more weeks out. I sat for 55 minutes waiting after my scheduled appontment time and was given about 3.5 minutes of his time when he came into the room. While waiting for my 2 weeks to pass, 1 of my 2 stitches came out on its own. Today was my 3rd appointment at his office. Wait time was way better, receptionist was still just a blah as could be. Got in the room and asked the PA if the final stitch could be removed. She went and got the removal kit for Dr Rousseau to have when he entered the room. After a short wait he made it and I asked him the same thing, can we please remove the final stitch. With the removal kit sitting there, Dr Rousseau reaches down and grabbed the stitch with his barehands and yanked the stitch out. It took 3 rips for him to get it all removed. No snip, no prep or warning. Just reached and ripped. I yelped and let him know that did hurt. He mashes on it pretty hard, rubbing it several times, letting me know I need to wear shoes more often and to put some aloe & vitamin E on it. I was prepared to give a 3 star review until today. Todays appointment brought my review to a 1 star as I feel the stitch removal could had gone way smoother than it did.

- MCMiguel CastromanNov 23, 20205.0I had surgery on my Achilles over a year ago. Dr. Rousseau did an amazing job putting me back together. It was an old soccer injury that got worse and worse and finally it raptured. I have been riding my road bike and going on long walks with no issues. Thank you!

When I went to my first visit he did an X-ray of my foot, talked to me about what was going on with my foot and gave me options based on pain level as to whether surgery was necessary. I had foot surgery and I am now pain free I would highly recommend him. He is very professional and knows what he is doing
