I was told I couldn’t cancel until December, only to find out later that I’ve been month-to-month since September. Despite this, I still wasn’t allowed to cancel immediately and am now forced to pay another month due to a 30-day notice policy. Poor communication and misleading information. I’ll be taking my business to a locally owned gym instead. And for what it’s worth the sauna smells awful 🤢

I called to explain and make the argument that kids should not be able to sign themselves up. They said this has been a problem in the past, but they can’t do anything about it because it’s in the hands of some other part of their company. I explained that since they require everyone to come in to cancel their account, maybe they should require everyone to come in to join and make sure that they show ID and prove that they’re old enough. At that point, I could tell there was no reasoning with them so here I am and won’t be a customer of that place ever again. For what it’s worth companies that blame some other part of their company and say their hands are tied are bad companies period.

The month to month isn’t a true month to month and they won’t let you cancel over the phone. So here I am driving to autograph a piece of paper to release me from a month to month…don’t waste your energy or time here. There are so many local gym’s that aren’t franchised and are operated better.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Miriam "Mimi" Rosas to reach those goals. She's a very supportive, knowledgeable and motivating personal trainer. She gives me the confidence to work out at a level I don't think I would naturally find on my own. I'm lifting more weight and moving my body in ways that make me feel empowered. I look forward to my weekly sessions with her. Five Stars! For Sure!
