  I would like to take this moment to highly recommend my wonderful dentist, Dr. Joey Cazares…It is often said that most people do not enjoy visiting the dentist—but in my case, it is completely different. From my very first visit, Dr. Cazares and his staff made me feel like family. Dr. Cazares is truly one of a kind. ….He has a warm and caring bedside manner, always greeting his patients with kindness and a beautiful smile. He treats every patient with genuine care and compassion, and his professionalism and work ethic are second to none. I can confidently say that he is one of the best dentists around, if not the very BEST!!! The quality of his work is outstanding, and I could not have asked for better treatment or results. His staff deserves just as much praise. Nancy, Mia, Cipa, Emily, and Rachel are also exceptional—they treat every patient as though they were part of their own family. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and positive energy make every visit a pleasant experience. Most people dread going to the dentist, but this office is different…. thanks to Dr. Cazares and his wonderful team, every visit is something I truly appreciate and even look forward to. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Cazares and his staff to anyone seeking excellent dental care ….combined with compassion, professionalism, and a welcoming atmosphere.   Dental work is no fun, but I had a great experience with Dr. Cazares and his team at McAllen Dental Associates. He was kind, listened to my concerns, and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. The staff was professional and welcoming. I left feeling cared for and confident in my dental treatment. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist who truly understands and cares about their patients.

  Wish I could leave NO STARS on this review but unfortunately that´s not an option. I’m a senior citizen, and throughout my life I’ve only seen 4 dentists because I’m a loyal patient and don’t hop around from dentist to dentist. I became Joey Cazares’ patient when my old dentist retired. I had never had any issues with my previous dentists numbing my gums to do dental work. After the usual injection my gum(s) always got numb so the drilling and filling of a molar never hurt, except when Joey Cazares did any work on my teeth. For some reason Joey Cazares ALWAYS failed to properly numb the gums, which in turn always made the procedure excruciatingly painful. Joey Cazares would always insisted in telling me that he knew the area was numb because he could see the gum discoloration caused by the anesthetic. Unfortunately the moment he would start drilling my molar it made me want to jump out of the chair in pain. I honestly thought there was something wrong with me because he insisted my gum should be numb and I shouldn’t feel any discomfort, but the instant he drilled on my tooth, the pain woulf be horrible because my gum wasn’t anesthetized. After scolding me for being “difficult”, Joey Cazares would end up giving me some kind of “block” (which was very painful) to achieve the numbing the usual injection should have numbed. After such “block” my gum would finally get numb and he would proceed with the filling without any more pain. I decided to leave Joe Cazares’ practice and go see a different dentist after enduring two of these horrible painful experiences. The new dentist wanted to work on a cavity he found so I was dreading the process of getting it drilled and filled. I didn’t want to be “difficult” as Joey Cazares had referred to me, but I thought this new dentist was going to have a difficult time numbing my gum. To my delightful surprise the new dentist numbed my gum immediately with only one injection. This confirmed what I had been wondering and suspecting…I wasn’t the problem, the problem was Joey Cazares not knowing how to numb my gums! I haven’t had any more issues getting my gum(s) numb!

  Dr Cazares and his staff are excellent! Ive been a patience for 20 years. Nancy in the office is great and always accommodates me with all my needs. She always makes my appointments so smooth! Dr Cazares is the best dentist in the valley!
