I have a referral pending with Dr. Overbeck. I tried to call today to see if the referral has been received and to go ahead and schedule an appointment since my insurance does not require the referral. I called at 10:33 and was on hold for 7 minutes before being sent to voicemail. I tried again at 10:40 and was on hold for 24 minutes before being sent to voicemail. After reading the reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence and the issue has apparently been conveyed to the office, according to the same generic response that is give to each person that post a similar review, yet there has been no improvement...at least from my experience today. If I ever did get in touch with them and need to reschedule an appointment or had a major issue that needed to be addressed quickly, I don't foresee any hope of being able to get in contact with them. As a result, I have asked my primary doctor to recommend another practice. This is an unacceptable business practice, especially for a healthcare provider. I rarely leave reviews but in this case, it seems warranted. Maybe, by some chance, this will be the one that gets the attention of management and a change will be made for current and future patients. Myself not included.

They do not answer there phones in a timely manner have been on hold for as long as 30 minutes.
I DO NOT consider this timely.

I saw Dr. Patel September of last year. At that time my cholesterol was 201 with the bad cholesterol being low and good high. She put me on Atorvastatin - 80 mg daily. I weigh 82 pounds and this dosage resulted in HIGH elevated liver counts. I have been trying to get in touch with her office with 2 messages on the Patient Portal and 2 detailed phone calls. I have yet to hear from anyone. This is irresponsible for any physician and I would not suggest anyone use this Dr.

I had a procedure on Monday 11/17, it did not go well and I was admitted to hospital (suspecting error on their part), I'm currently still admitted and cannot get a doctor at Heartplace to come see me or give me the time of day to discuss options for discharge, its empty promises and drive by conversations without any follow through, I'm in hospital hell. AVOID at all cost and find doctor that cares about patients. I wish I could give 0 stars.
Update - After 4 days in hospital, I had probably a total of 20 minutes of conversation with 2 DRs in this office, my primary and the one who did procedure NEVER followed up with me when she works in same building. I requested my care be transferred to different Cardiologist and they are working with me on discharge. DO NOT work with this practice.
I have been trying for a month to get in to see a doctor here. I am on hold daily for 15-20 min, sometimes i can hear the phone being rolled again. I have also left mulit messages with no return call. I would still love to get into see Dr Patel but I am no longer willing to wait to see her. It should not be this difficult to get an appointment.
HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES AND SOMEONE NEEDS TO TALKED TO AND/OR LET GO.
