My son is sick, I’m starting to feel sick, I’m trying to keep the rest of the household from getting sick…. And our pharmacy didn’t have the prescription. I called multiple pharmacies in the area to ask, and no one had the medication we needed in stock. I was starting to feel pretty stressed thinking we wouldn’t be able to get it in time. I was feeling so discouraged, but decided to try one more pharmacy.. HEB! The lady on the phone pretty much had this “don’t worry, I’ve got this” attitude and I was impressed! Could this be? An hour later a man called me to tell me everything had been done and the medication was ready and to come get it because it was important for my son to have the dose as soon as possible. My jaw dropped. My younger son is medically complex so I’m used to having to work extra hard in order to get things done for him. Having someone else completely take over a situation to take care of things rarely happens! I cried when I got off the phone. This meant SO MUCH to my mama heart. This level of care and service was so beautiful, and I am so truly grateful!!
