Too bad Dr. Vallabahn is at this place. He could do so much better somewhere else. There is a certain nurse that is very rude every time you see her. I had to go in and have a catheter removed after few weeks after surgery. This is a one person job. Two at the most. There were at least 7 people in the room while my junk was hanging out. They were carrying on conversations that had nothing to do with me and acted like I wasn’t even there. I walked out that day with no dignity and very humiliated. Needless to say, I have found another doctor at a different facility. I definitely won’t be going back to this cattle lot.

Don't do it guys! I just left this place from my very first visit. I walked in, gave new patient paperwork and had a seat. A lady called me up and said it would be $160. I explained that my copay is $60 and she said yes but we're charging you for tests the Dr might do. (MIGHT DO YALL). And I told her well I was just prepared to pay my copay. What are my options? And she said to pay the money. So I replied with "So it's all about the money?" And she stated yes. I then said "not about your patients"? And she said No. It's about collecting your money. At that moment I felt very hurt, angry and shocked. I couldn't believe I was being treated like shit and that she only me as a dollar sign instead of a patient. I have worked in healthcare for years doing exactly her job and I would NEVER outright tell a patient they don't matter. That it's just about their money. Immediately I asked for the office manager who listened and reminded me that they have to keep the lights on. She said their not like UMC who get funded by the government. She was nicer than the lady up front and I hugged before I left because at least she took the time to listen to me. But I was not seen there nor will I ever go back!!! The women on the Frontline are the people we see first. They are the first impression. And I didn't feel confident in the physicians that were gonna see me after the treatment I received when I walked in. I had already been made aware by the office manager and up front lady that they were only there to take my money. So NOPE. I recommend everyone go see a urologist who cares about you as a human. Who loves you and doesn't treat you badly. And I pray these phyciams working there get wind of this. These ladies are making y'all look so bad to the point where people are giving up on you before you get to see them. Thanks for nothing Lubbock Urology

HORRIBLE Dehumanizing FRONT DESK staff
Let me just say I wish I would have read the reviews before taking my elderly mom to this place. The doctor and her nurse were super nice! The front desk was horrible. The two ladies in the front are very rude like I mean outrageously rude. The moment we walked in one was looking down at her phone we walk up and are kind of waiting not wanting to disturb her and she looks up and says yes In the rudest tone. We get done checking in and I Hear the front desk talking crap loud about my elderly mom for no reason and she literally was not doing nothing wrong! Then she asked them if they have a restroom she can use other then the one that they were having everyone go into to do their urine sample because she needed to go number 2 and didn’t want to take up that restroom for a long time “ her medical reasons leave unable to fastly use the bathroom” I then here them laughing about her talking about there is “an outhouse outside”
I sat there and watched these women make fun of and dehumanize multiple other elderly people while we were waiting to be called back!
It very unprofessional and breaks my heart if you don’t have more patience and kindness then you need to switch to another job field

Absolutely terrible place. Would not recommend this to my worst enemy. The office staff is rude and pushy, the physician I met with wasn’t much better. They don’t know what papers you’re supposed to get and when, it’s awful. The front desk beasts think they walk on water, and tossed 2 people out while I was in line, I was the 3rd. Go anywhere but here.
