  BEST doc around! He’s treated 3 out of our family of 5 and all had great experiences. I trust him and he’s great at his job. I love the rest of the staff too, great people.

  Love Dr. Canlas. He has treated me a few different times and has been very sincere in taking the time to explain everything and give me options. The staff is amazing too! Highly recommended!

  Huge fan of Dr. Canlas, the nurse and staff. I had been dealing with an ankle issue off and on for close to a decade. I visited primary care docs, podiatrists, chiropractors and PTs over the years with a variety of responses. When I was obese, they wrote me off based on weight. When I lost weight, I was written off because I ran. I just couldn't believe I had to live with the pain, so I came into Dr. Canlas fed up yet desperate. Dr. Canlas is exceptionally professional and actually LISTENED! He did not ask that I go through every one of the treatments I had gone through previously, but for the things he wanted to try, he explained why... Why he wanted me to try something, what he hoped to achieve through it, and detailed information to carry out anything done outside of the office. Ultimately, he identified the culprit through an MRI. So many visits to others, and because I was written off at face value, no MRI was every deemed as necessary. However, Dr. Canlas looked at the entire picture I painted, and then he made an assessment. His demeanor with patients and expertise are solid, but this was the icing on the cake for me. After a few visits, surgery seemed like the right answer to him, but I didn't want to hear that. I sought a 2nd opinion where more previously-tried treatments were recommended. I went through the motions for 1 option, and of course, it didn't work. The podiatrist was dismissive, and while he was nice, it was more of the same pre-Canlas. I went back to Dr. Canlas to go down the surgical path, and he was very patient in answering my questions in a way that I could understand. He was very clear through the whole process, knowledgeable of what I should expect and very relatable. I feel as if I've been to the office a dozen times or more for my appointments leading up to the surgery and follow ups. I believe I have had only 1 instance of an excessive wait time, but for the most part, I'm in and out fairly quickly. They are efficient, and I've been surprised at how quickly Dr. Canlas seems to be able to switch gears between patients. The nurse (Christy) and front office staff I've interacted with (primarily Amber) are very friendly and efficient, as well. One last point I'd like to share is that the price of the items that his office sells are not ridiculous. I've had a $40 boot on Amazon sold to me for $285 at another podiatrist. Every product that was warranted in my treatment here was within an acceptable range of what I could purchase elsewhere (like $15 on a $150 item or even the same price for an insert). At no point did I feel gouged like I have in the past. No billing issues to date, and at all points, they have been transparent about what is and is not covered by insurance. Definitely recommend this office for your needs!
