- ACAdriana CortezJun 9, 20225.0I was given less than 24 hour notice that my father was to be discharged from a rehab facility after surgery. I had dismantled and got rid of his personal bed while he was away, in anticipation of receiving a hospital bed for his room. At the last minute I found out the original request was on back order and it could be weeks before they could have one delivered. I was left scrambling trying to find another company. The first place I called was STME&S. I spoke with Kimberly who was very helpful. She said they had beds available and ready for delivery, but it was all hanging on getting them the RX in time. By the time it was sent, it was Friday at around noon and my father was to be discharged around 5pm. I was scared I would not have a bed for him set before the weekend. Each time I called, everyone was so reassuring and professional. They understood the timeline I was up against and they had the bed delivered and set up before my father walked in the door. I could not have been more grateful for their assistance and pulling off a miracle. I worked with Kimberly, Jerry and Virginia, I hope I remembered her name correctly. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
