It’s hard for me to put into words how amazing this place is but I’m going to try. Living a life of constant addiction from the softest to the hardest drugs, trauma from my earliest years to even recently, and thinking that I didn’t deserve help or that it just wasn’t meant for me. This place is a light in that kind of darkness. The amazing staff (therapists, physician, psychiatrist, nurses, BHTs, case managers, and yes even the cooks, cleaning crews and maintenance) to the peers your surrounded by that are struggling with the same problems and issues helped change the way I look at life. How I feel about it and how I want to change it. The atmosphere at Virtue is so encouraging and supportive. This place can help you heal. To have a chance to take a breath and think you’re worth it, that you deserve better, and you want to peruse ta different kind of life that seems unattainable. Thank you to everyone there and if you’re reading this, looking for help, don’t give up. Please give this place a chance. It gave me a chance when I didn't believe was there. From secular education to faith embraced programs, it’s all there and more.
